On behalf of the Board of Directors here at Learning Spaces Nursery, we welcome you to our website.
Very early in his life, Our Father His Highness late Sheikh Zayed's thirst for knowledge drove him to the desert with Bedouin tribesmen so he could teach his people; he was inspired to enhance learning and opportunities for his people. He later went on to personally fund the first modern school in the Emirate and coaxed his relatives and friends to contribute towards this small scale achievement which would enable him to educate Emiratis so that they would be able to compete with the rest of the world. We wanted to humbly follow his ideology and therefore after many months of research and visits to various Nurseries in England, Italy, Holland, USA and Qatar, it was decided that we needed to raise the bar for Early Year’s Education by providing the highest quality care and stimulating environment where infants and children will be able to achieve their greatest potential.
Our founding fathers have taught us a valuable lesson, that changing times require a change in approach. Hence after many months of research and weighing up the pros and cons of various educational approaches and philosophies, we have adopted the Reggio Emilia Approach, an emergent learning style of international acclaim into our EYFS curriculum. This innovative approach will ensure all children begin school ready to learn, succeed in their careers and become productive citizens of the UAE and the World. Our approach has been inspired by the UAE government strategy which focuses on providing a high standard of education and living for its entire people. This in turn makes us feel obliged towards our land and its people.
As parents ourselves, we understand the everyday concerns of parents who naturally feel unsure when leaving their children in the care of others. This is why we will endeavour to make both you and your children feel as safe and secure as possible, in as many ways as we can
